Sunday(ish) Salon: November 14, 2010

This weekend was really busy. Lots of working both jobs, a family get-together, hanging out with my dad, etc. Needless to say, I didn't get around to my weekly blog. But it's here now. :) Unfortunately the weekend job may put a crimp in my ability to get my Sunday Salons out on Sunday.

I completed my personal goal of rereading all the Harry Potter books before the movie comes out this Friday. I am thrilled. Now to watch the movies.... I did watch a bunch of new movies this week. I think that Iron Man 2 was my favorite, I still think he's ridiculously obnoxious, but I really liked it. Scott Pilgrim was really...quirky. I'm not sure if I liked it or not. I think I'll have to watch it again to know what my opinion is. :/ NCIS: LA is not nearly as good as NCIS. I wasn't a big fan of the characters. My favorites are the techie guy and the psychologist, but they don't get as much screen time as the others because they stay in the office and don't go undercover. I also found some of the dialogue to be cheesy and cliche. Once I hit about the third disc though I started to truly enjoy the show.
