The Faceless Ones [Derek Landy]

Reactions
I enjoy these fantasy books. I like Stephanie's character and how each character has good AND bad in them. There's a mysterious bad guy in this one and I really enjoyed that twist (although I called it about 10 pages before it happened).

Someone is going around and killing all the teleporters but no one knows why. Skulduggery and Valkyrie have been exiled from the Sanctuary. The sanctuary still has a leak and Skulduggary still believes it's Guild, the Grand Mage. Plus a new head detective that is out for Skulduggery's blood, if he had any blood that is. A reappearance of Scapegrace always adds a little extra humor to the story. Mostly the book is about finding out and preventing the new plot to return the Faceless ones to power.

I wanted to like the new teleporter character, Fletcher Renn, but I found it difficult. I was hoping he'd be a love interest for Valkyrie but no. Maybe in the next one?

Overall, I enjoyed it and finished it quickly. I'm looking forward to the next one.
